Dont know if this is here already but it would be nice to have a built in dialog maker in the new vershion of mIRC. That way it makes it easyer on the user. I know there are programs already out there I use some of them to make dialogs but it would be a cool change to have it built into mIRC. anyone els agree? (note to mods) If this topic is already on here feel free to delete this then.

This probably sounds old fashioned but I disagree as half the fun of getting a dialogue to work is making the whole thing from scratch. To each their own though and I have no real problem with such a feature being added though it may be a large addition as most graphic things usually are.

if dialog makers are (fairly) easy to script, i doubt khaled will have too much trouble wink

I agree with Watchdog. In addition, I personally don't think it's worth the effort (and possible confusion?) when there's already adequate scripts etc out there that help with it anyway - all people would say is "I like X Dialog Maker better, so I'll stay with it" and it wouldn't be used all that much. There are also numerous amounts of tutorials out there which help you out.

An FYI, you can use the Forum Search feature and search for topics to make sure they haven't been posted on before. Expand all 'All Forums' and 'All Posts' for best results (although in this case you may have just set it to 'All Posts' and 'Feature Suggestions'!)

Regardless of my opinion though, thanks for the input!

Regards,

Thanks mentality ill search for now on. Ya I agree most people would probly stay with there own dialog maker or use tutorials but dont you think it would be something good for people that dont know dialogs and dont have a clue as to where to get scripts to make them? I bet khaled could probly make a waterdown vershion of one and add some already done demos for people to look at im guessing the most it would add on to mIRC would be 900k maby 1mb but chances are you can make it really small and not use alot of grafix to make it up. Im in the middle I just wanted to see where everyone stands on this topic.
