I want to change it cause I don't want to anybody to see my ip. TY for helping me.

Many networks have different ways of dealing with their host masking. It would probably be more useful if you went to the networks help channel to get more information there. They may even run a vhost server. Again you can find out all the info there

Forgot to say though you will always see your own info as correct and others will not that the whole idea of host masking

The easiest way is to use a network where the server sets +x on you upon connection. This mode hides part of your address without the need to run extra programmes or disobey the policies of many networks who ban the use of IP's when masked by users themselves.

Yes. You can register an account with AuthServ, log in, and type /mode yournick +x to get a hidden host.
