Forums mIRC Help banned but why?

I've been using mirc for ages and never any probs but i.ve just been banned from a network the reason being "defcon akill"
can anyone tell me if they know what this is? Help!

You really need to ask the admins at that network what is going on. If you dont know the network's website, use www.google.com to find it, and look for info or a forum there and how to contact ppl who can help you. Be sure to include the entire akill msg you see.

Its possible you arent the offender, but that others within your ip range or with the same provider are the cause, but only the admins of that network can tell you.

well - no website to be found - the "official" website displays apache test page!
but i tried again an got in ok - asked an op who had no idea
so there we go - one of life's little mysteries

glad you got back on ok for future reference tho, take a look in the MOTD (type /motd) and see if it list help channels or the website just in case you ever need it.
