I am trying to make a script that will do DCC send get resume
using sockets but have no where to start. I have read some tutorials but none where very infomative and I am kinda iffy on how to use bread and bwrite. If any of you could help or point me in the right direction that would help greatly.

you dont want to write a multi source downloader do you?

I just want to script an alternate to mIRC's DCC since it doesnt want to work right half the time.

I did look at it myself at one point, but got side tracked on other things.

What do you find that doesnt work correctly ?, the only thing i feel is missing is the ability to rename the file from within a script, currently i give it a new folder, then move it when it finishes (bit trashy but hey so am i <grin>)

I have nothing yet, not even a starting point. I was looking at tutorials before but none of them really talked about how the DCC Transfer protocal worked.
