I've been doing a lot of thinking lately (I've got too much time on my hands :P), and after noticing something funny about my logs, I thought I'd investigate it further.

When you have another instance of mIRC running, or even another server window, it seems that mIRC will write to the same log files, and can in some cases, really muck up (in some cases appending output in the middle of other output).

I can only suggest that perhaps the window buffers could be updated to try and sync chat within logs, or, to create another instance of the log (or even detect that logging is occuring, and temporarily disable logging for that instance of the program/channel).
