this might sound silly to other but to me it is different and org I'm visually impaired and I was wondering if this would ever be possible and that is haveing dots in the left banners that make up braille and the reason I was thinking of it is cuz I have friends that use mirc and haven't seen braille dots and in the right banners it would say in print what the left says?
I just want to come up with something different and neat

this thread discusses this issue. And nobody is going to make fun of you, it's great that people who are visually impaired can and do use IRC still - I know someone who uses a voice synthesizer, might like to talk to friends or search Google. Have fun!  Regards,

Firstly I'm well aware of him being the author of the other thread, secondly, I don't see how we made fun of him.
argv0 said a joke about contact lenses, which was meant in a completely non-rude way and was not meant to offend Hill in any way. If I thought for a second anyone WAS being offensive there, I wouldn't have participated in the thread.

you cant feel brail on a computer monitor i think thats what started the whole joke in the other thread, the fact that screens cant have braille, and braille is pointless unless you can use your sense of touch to read it...

ever thought of utiklizing the text to speach support? i cant think of one single use adding dots to computer program would serve, just like i cant see how the blind need lights in there houses. doesnt make any sense. and neither does your suggestion

That question was actually asked once, the blind guy said, that it was so his seeing eye dog didnt bang into things. (i think he might have been having a go)
