another idea I have is this:
the options of mIRC consist out of trees etc. ...
what about a similar serverlist editor, like:
+ DALnet
+ UnderNet
+ EfNet
+ And such other net
+ Other nets
+ etc.
- this network
- server1
-server2
(etc. etc. blah blah)
With the option of marking whole groups and deleting them, changing i.e. ports for whole groups etc.
