On some servers there is a usermode that informs you when you are /whois'd, although it tends to be only available to opers. On Unreal it is mode W.

saw on some script that uses some server raws to get that info... dunno if it is even possible tho

There's a brazilian Script that show's you if someone is whoising you, this script is named by Hacker2K!

Nice time for a reminder to be careful about using scripts. Be sure you understand exactly what they do and wont do. Many contain backdoors and nasties.

The majority of the time, such scripts don't work. A raw has to be sent from the server for it to work, it's not like Khaled is hiding the notice from you. In other words, if you don't already get a notice someone is whoising you, adding another script won't improve your chances.

ptlink and bahamut use +y to be able to see whoisses...

some networks leave this mode open but most are restricted to IRC-opers only...

If that script works for you you're just plain lucky. I frequent 4 networks, and it will not work on any of them. As said before, the information is usually restricted to opers only.
