Forums mIRC Help pm question

Just a quick question about private messaging. I can start a conversation with someone and the pm works. On the other hand, when someone pm's me....I never know they are. I hate for peeps to think I am ignoring them. I must just have something not set right.

Any suggestions of what to try would be great.

First of all... do you use a plain mIRC or a mIRC script? It is possible that your script or any other script you might have loaded blocks the private messages from apearing to your screen. If you got nothing loaded then check out the ignore list /ignore -l

Try Options > IRC >Show in active (uncheck query)

Thanks alot for both the suggestions. I tried both ideas. Yes, I'm using a Mirc script. When I use that, that's when the pm doesn't work. When I use the basic Mirc 6.12, it works fine.

Now, anymore ideas??????

Yeah, get rid of that lame script and find a better one ;P
