Forums General Discussion PLS URGENT HELP

I try to login to Quakenet but the servers doesnt let me connect...they write TROJAN INSTALED SCAN YOUR PC but ive scanned with at least 5 antivirus programs and also with 4-5 anti trojan stuff... ive find a 5000 port open and Anti Trojan 5.5 shows some Blazer 5000 but only running not any file present... but quakenet still shows that msg with trojan... :-( What to do pls...somebody experienced help...i rily wont reinstall my PC... :-( pls write to aikimaniac@email.cz

it says that coz you have open port, run firewall or some port closer... that'll do the trick

YOu would do far better to be asking on Quakenet's forurm

First tho, i'd suggest reading about open port 5000 at http://grc.com/unpnp/unpnp.htm You may also find http://miataru.computing.net/security/wwwboard/forum/2008.html helpful

ive did... ive closed that port and firewall ? No one...Symantec...Kerio havent registred something what will open that port...ive closed the upnp manualy and didnt help :-( ive wrote already also to Quakenet :-) but thx for advices :-)

Did you try to use a online scanner? like http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ ?.. some of the trojans/worms out there disable your virus scanner on the computer, then it infect the scanner and make the scanner miss it, this wont happen if you use a scanner from the net.. try it and maybe it help you..
