I have set whois on query and show whois in active window.
If a bunch of people query at the same time some of the whois dont show.
I guess this is because mIRC queues up the whoising according to the window they belong in and several whois's would overwrite prevous whois requests.

Yes, it's probably either what you suggested or some sort of server flood protection. I have the same thing, and I've had it since 5.91 (the first mIRC I used).

I don't *think* this is a bug. In fact, it's probably a good thing that it happens - if you got query flooded by 50+ bots, and were forced to /whois all of them, you'd either disconnect or get extremely lagged.

Have you checked the "Whois on query" flood-protection option? I was unable to reproduce this.

If you haven't already, you can aslo use "/debug -p @Debug" to see if mIRC is sending out all of the whois requests.
