Try doing DMZ Host, put your computers ip (the one the router gives it), this will disable the firewall for the 1 computer, so most companys dont reccomend it.
Usually you can fully demiliterise one machine (on most routers) though doing this requires you to put a software firewall on that machine to protect it from the l337 h4x0rz. That is the biggest problem with DMZ as it will leave the machien you want to DCC from totally open to anyone wanting to probe it. I choose not to do this of course as I want my whole network both unpingable and as untraceable as possible. You can use the port forwarding function but of course this does not provide for the 3500-odd ports required for this exercise. Most routers offer only a handful of chances to forward ports, typically 10 - 20 at a time. As a guide I would say a good router is far more trustworthy than any commercially available software firewall. The only software based system that I have seen that can take the same punishment is one that is hand-coded in FreeBSD.
