Where has CTRL+M gone? I used to type a lot of phrases that would start with a slash ( / ) and had to hit CTRL+M for it to be sent to the server as a message instead of being parsed as a command... but now, i've just tried to use it and my last phrase was shown up... that's not the way it used to be.. just wanted to know what happened to CTRL+M...
Thanks in advance for all responses and for the attention,

Ctrl+m doesn't do anything for me on 6.03.

Edit: I have
/a
/a
/abc
in clipboard.

Collective, type " /this is an example message " in any chat/query/channel window (mirc 6.03). You'll read in the status "THIS Unknown command"... but type the same message and instead of pressing enter, hit ctrl+m ... the phrase will be sent to the active channel/query. Hope you have understand the problem. smile

Ah, I see.

Ctrl+m works for me in 6.12, I'm not sure why it wouldn't for you. Try ctrl+enter instead?

To force mIRC not to treat '/...' text as a command you simply need to use Ctrl+Enter. I've no idea whether Ctrl+M was intentionally removed, or indeed whether it was intentionally added in the first place, but since there's another (more logical) key combination for it I would imagine it's not a bug that it's gone.

Spelling mistakes, grammatical errors, and stupid comments are intentional.

ctrl-m is enter its chr13 which is carraige return, i would say it was acting as if u pressed the enter key, and becuase u had the control key down to do it, it pastest with out evaluation.

Yeah you're right. Some people also get some problems when pasting with ctrl+v but wanting to evaluate code.. it's all about ctrl being hold.

Which is why you use shift+insert to paste in that case.

Yes, I've always used it. Saddly, a lot of people don't even know shift+del/ins.
