Indeed, it is good that message board is back but some users are disappointed/anger of the lost hundred’s posts. THEY'RE disappointed/angry? Imagine the university and those with items in there, who lost a staggering $50,000,000 US worth of things. I'd say the posts are more easily put back

I totally agree with Karen !!!! Our little mIRC Forum is nothing compared to what the University has lost - and I am NOT talking about the money!

Yeah, sucks a little I lost 2 years / 3200+ posts of stuff, but it's not really compared to the fire itself so it's no big deal... atleast no one one was hurt (I think).

MY first time in here (I am a registered Mirc user) and decided to take a look at last  As I am mainly housebound, the IRC has been great these past few years to make new friends and to learn. Hope this isnt off topic but wanted to say thanks for a great program that really is my "window" john

Nice one John - I've recently been fairly housebound too, only just got back to work after 5 months off. If it wasn't for IRC I'd have gone demented. Trouble is, I'm having withdrawal symptoms now that I'm back at work!

Welcome John Seems like mostly ppl hear about the bad that happens IRC and forget that bad happens IRL too. It truly can be a window on the world for many. I have my own reasons to be thankful to Khaled for creating mIRC, as do many... i doubt he will ever know how many ppl have had their lives pleasantly added to thru it.
