You might want to read the versions.txt file.

um, mIRC 1.2? do you mean v6.12 perhaps? If you need help finding the versions.txt, in mIRC click on help, then on text files, then on versions.txt (assuming its in your main mIRC folder). alternatively you can view it at http://www.mirc.co.uk/versions.txt

The versions.txt details changes in each version
