Hey, if anyone knows how I can get a driver for a scanner (Genius ColorPage-Vivid Pro 2) or how to install it using windows 98 with an inf file or something please post a reply, I'm using the installer CD and it doesn't work, i went to the site and downloaded another installer, that also DID NOT work.

The program f**ks up and tells me theres an error and I HAVE to close it, heres the details of the error:

I need the actual inf or exe file site... i've already tried the mother site.

This is a mirc help forum. Your questions is totally and completely off topic here,. If you cannot find what you want on google, you have the following options:

1] goto the manufacturer's website and find it there.
2] goto the manufacturer's website and contact their tech support via email or form
3] place a phonecall to the manufacturer's callcenter
4] goto the store where you bought it and ask there
5] buy another one

PS: and before you say this is a 'general discussion' forum, this forum is a forum to "talk about IRC, mIRC, and other general topics" - this is not a general topic.

You can always call other countries -- that's why there's international acces codes. Alternatively, usenet is an unlimited source of knowledge, as long as you ask in the right group.

Manufacturer's websites always provide the latest drivers for their hardware, so it has to be there. If it isn't, they are not supporting the hardware anymore, and you're pretty much on your own then.
