Forums mIRC Help HTTP Proxy Help - Instructions please

Hi. I'm new here. I'd like to know how to use mIRC (mIRC 6.1) on my computer on the network. I've tried to refer to the http://www.mirc.co.uk/help/proxies.html, but the instructions seem to be not the same as in mIRC 6.1.

I feel strange because I've been able to use ICQ on my computer using the HTTP Proxy. I've keyed in the same Local Host I got in ICQ into the Hostname field, and also the same Port setting in the Port field, and also set Firewall support to Server, Protocol: Proxy. I tried connecting but it always say Unable to resolve server. I've tried changing the Server to DCC then to Both, but everytime, I get the same results: the connection is refused.

Can anyone please point out anything is wrong here? I'm aware that maybe the HTTP proxy was set up to block the use of IRC (maybe not also), but I'm willing to take the risk. Please help! Thanks!
