You may want to provide a little more information. For instance...

Do you use any scripts?
Do you use any DLLs?
What operating system?
What server(s) do you connect to?
What channel(s) are you joining?
Do you use a non-English Windows?

etc...

Also, install mIRC to another directory without changing any of the default options and see if it still happens. If it doesn't, I would try to narrow it down to specific mIRC options or any scripts you may have loaded.

you got disconnected with "peer" error, if you dont get back into the channel, i saw you were still running that filesharing script. try a clean copy of mIRC in its own directory WITHOUT that script and see if the same error happens. Course, i have no idea if that script messed with the registry or not.

Also, in case you didnt see it: does this happen only when you are sending or getting a file?

Try a clean copy of mIRC in another directory (without that script) and see if you still have the problem. If you dont, then i would talk to whoever wrote the script as it may not be dealing with changes made in v6.1

I disagree with that. Its one thing to deal with script errors with the update, but it should never cause a program crash like that no matter what is wrong with the script.

If the script is entirely scripted then fair enough, but many scripts use DLLs, and there is nothing mIRC can do about DLLs that crash it.
