I'm in a LAN, and I must use HTTP proxy to visit the internet. So the DNS work is done by the HTTP proxy.

In mIRC 6.1 I find I cannot logon IRC server any more! And tell me "Unable to resolve server" (because no DNS server in the LAN)

But if I change the server domain name into the IP address, I can logon server again.

It means in mIRC 6.03, mIRC never resolve the server domain name to IP, my HTTP proxy will resolve it perfectly. But in the new mIRC 6.1, mIRC do the resolve, so I cannot logon the IRC server any more if I don't know the IP address!!!
