got a little problem with this code for use in mirc 6.03
its not seeing any one that joins
Code:
on *:JOIN:#somechannel:{
  if ($readini(speakersvote.ini,votemsgann,$nick) != 1) {
msg $nick Dont Forget to Vote for your most popular picks, message keeker for more info
}
}

i even tried a really simple one like :

Code:
on *:JOIN:*:{
msg $nick Hi there
}
and it still not working

i wrote the code in mirc 6.1 and copied it to 6.03, it works in 6.1 but not 6.03 any ideas as to why it aint working in 6.03?

edit: it does not return any errors that i can see

you don't have to be rude to people that are trying to help

Before you try and help others, help your eye sight first by going to the opticians.
I wasn't being rude.

By saying that "Can't you read?" and telling me to get my eye sight checked you aren't being rude?
I don't know where you live, but if that is polite, i would hate to see rude. I think you need some lessons social behavior, you are in fact very rude, now you should just drop it.
I just missed one sentence and you think its the end of the world. I would hate to see how you would react to something serious.

I will have my lessons just as soon as Mars re appears again. Which would be in, many, many years.
If you have something to post atleast re check the post you are replying to, instead of posting a load of <censored> bull<censored>.

No, you're right, but it seems although it is only a few people that posts, if they do post something, it doesn't help <censored> all.

Maybe so, but with all do respect mate, I am not the one who tried to help someone, I can't emphasize ''tried'' enough, you didn't help, and they had already said thanks for the help. So if I am rude, what does that make you, blind? Stupid? Tell me.
No wait, now it is end of conversation.
