Why is it there is no way to get the topic history for a channel? I want to rewrite the channel central (since Khaled doesn't seem to want to make any changes to it), and I want it to have all the features of the current channel central. So, I think it would be useful if there was some sort of $topichistory(#channel,N)[.setby|setat]
That returns the Nth topic in the topic history, and if you use .setby or .setat it will return either who set it or when it was set. And of course N = 0 would return the total number of topics in the history.

That would be a great addition, though (as you probably realise and probably have already done) it's not that had to script at all smile

Just use:
  • on TOPIC event
  • Hash tables (or other data storage)
  • $prop to get the properties you require
  • And a custom identifier, it could be coded within seconds/minutes smile

You won't like it when I get angry.

Yeah you could script it, but I'm thinking, mIRC already stores the information for us... so why not just let us access it?
