Forums Bug Reports Notify List not playing sounds

Well, that's exactly what's happening. When someone on your notify list gets on IRC, it'll show in the status window with the default message (* -nick- is on IRC), however any sound file associated with that person will not play. Comments are appreciated, and thanks for the attention,

This works for me with version 6.1.

I just noticed this in the mirc news post for 6.1:
The "enable" sounds option in the sounds dialog now affects most sounds, including highlight, notify, window/icon flashing, etc.

Maybe you have sounds disabled?
