In XP there is the problem of space in the taskbar. I use mIRC to speak with my high school friends and sometimes there's noone there. So It would be a great thing if mIRC could go into the tray and maybe to blink if something is written in the main window or something. This would really make up for space on the bar.

Please don't let until 7.0 to fix this PROBLEM!!!!

mirc already does what your asking look in the options menu ..... um well i cant direct u to where in 6.1 cause im not using it but in 6.03 u would ALT+o (opens options menu) click on DISPLAY >> TRAY and tick the checkbox next to "Place mirc in Tray when minimized" and then tick "Animate icon when there is activity"

the same options should be in 6.1 ... maybe a different layout

In mIRC, click on the options icon or hold down your alt key and click the O (letter,not number) then click on display/options and on the tray button
