My DCC send will not work, I am not running a firewall, I am using a router and a buddy of mine tells me it is my problem, can anyone help me with what i gotta change be it TCP/IP or whatever?

I also have it set on Automatically Detect Ip Addy, still doesnt send.

Cable:Some cable users have resolved their DCC problem by doing the following:
1. Be sure the cable provider doesn't have you firewalled.
2. While disconnected, in File>Options>Connect>Local info, under on connect always get, clear both the local host and the greyed out ip address boxes.
3. In Windows control panel>internet options>connection, change both modem and LAN settings to "automatically detect"


I have also followed all of these steps.

Still no go

Have you checked the router links in that thread for help with port forwarding?

dont forget to put the ports in mIRC's options as it explains
