Heres what I want to do:

1. Connect to bot.
2. Check to see if nick is one of the 3 allowed nick names
3. Accept remote commands

I could do this easily through /msg, but this way seems more secure. But I'm not sure how to go about doing it.

How would it be more secure?

<Ingo> I can't uninstall it, there seems to be some kind of "Uninstall Shield"

Server logs? The server i go to admins can read logs, meaning people can get access who arent suppose to, the less people know about how it works the more secure it is.

Ok, fair point.
It'd me more or less the same code though. You'd want on CHAT instead of on TEXT, and /msg =$nick instead of /msg $nick ... but other than that..

I was thinking the same thing... a bot with commands through DCC chat.

So.. how to auto accept DCC chats for only certain ppl?

Thanks, Zyzzy.
