howdo i send what my winamp is playing (so-called NowPlaying) to mirc for display like
/me is listening to metallica - st.anger
for example
when i start to play smthing in me winamp 2.91

formerly i used a winamp plugin "gen_mirc" written by winamp's developers
but it doesn't seem to work in mirc 6.03
though it worked with 5.91fine
or there's an alternative-
how to pass a "/me" command from status window of mirc to the active channel/private
cause the plugin tries to write this "/me plaiyng" string to the main window instead of active...

I'd write custom alias which is called from winamp and save the song info to variable... Then I'd make another alias to announce that crap to channel...

you may try do_something. I believe its for winamp, and has numerous functions to use on winamp.

i got a plugin which writes this info into text file
i use it for NP in my emails with the Bat program

but unfortunately i'm not familiar with scripts in mirc
thats why i'm askin if some script could wite a string from certain textfile into active channel window in mirc
like
/me is liustening to blah-blah artist - blah-blah song
the blah-blah is taken from textfile (c:\nowplaying.txt or whatever) and each time the track in winamp is started/switched it tells us the new string...
well
if someone could help me with the script... i'm not a programmer, so it's hard for me to do it myself
and i've never done this kind of things before...

try to use AMIP,it works for me...

youcan go to winamp site > plugins and do a search for file out | write plugin by Drpizza and it lets you writeout a txt file of specifications of winamp songs and you can simply call that from mirc, easy. i use that in Anarchy Online a multiplayer onlinegame.

does any body know of a web site that deletes other web sites? trying to find a ceretin web site.

and thats a stupid thing to ask, if you honestly think your gunna get help deleting someones website then follow my instructions:
1: delete your account.
2: go in a corner
3: die

Never say never. Nothing is impossible with computers. Sometimes just highly improbable though. With the right username and password anything is generally possible and this means that website owners, especially those with very popular sites (like mine :tongue:) have to make sure the passwords are as hard to guess as possible, even hard for computers to guess. And as far as I am concerned, I keep a full backup of all files and databases anyway so owning my site is futile. What we have to realise though is that the user might not want to do this to someone, he might be a victim, though admittedly he didn't make this clear.

the best winamp plugin for mIRC is mir.dll its spread all over the inet just look on google for it allows for customizble now playing text where many script are locked

if he was the victim i dont think he would be asking for the site :tongue:
