Forums Connection Issues DCC send trouble

Hello all.I'm using mIRC 6.03.I connect my owner server ( IRCD ) on port 7000 and I can DCC send successfully.If I use port 7005 or anything above 7000 I can't DCC send.The pop-up screen happens and I acknowledge it but no data comes across and it sits there waiting.Now this only happens when I connect to ports above 7000.Several other people are having the same problem with their IRCD also.I'd like to know where the problem lies if anyone knows.
