Hello. I'm running on a wireless home network through a cable modem. I recently installed Windows XP. Ever since this new installation my web browser slows down CONSIDERABLY if I also have MIRC open at the same time, or if I'm d/ling something through MIRC at the same time as I'm surfing the net. Anyone know why? It's as if it were...some kind of bandwidth issue. When I close MIRC the web browser speed returns to normal. Is there any way to solve this problem? I really don't want to have to turn off MIRC to use my web browser. This happens for both IE and Netscape, by the way.
