OP LifeIsPain Ameglian cow L Joined: Apr 2003 Posts: 36	Currently, if the IRCd sends a PART command and the user is yourself, mIRC closes the channel specified. It would be nice if I could halt on this event (currently not possible). So I would like an option similar to the "Keep channels open" that is in mIRC Options -> IRC. Example of uses: Keeping the history of the channel open while leaving channels (perhaps to be able to change nicks in a muted channel), Keeping the window from being closed without you expecting it (such as from an IRCop or Services IRCop forcing the PART command). There are certainly issues to consider in doing this though. Original Thread in Scripts & Popups
