Forums Connection Issues HELPPPPPPPPP!!!!!!

For three weeks, I've been trying to get into a chat on the Nevernet server.

I've downloaded MIRC then nothing happens. I get no further help to figure out how to connect to the Nevernet server.

There is never any more information given to ME!!!!!

I can't stand this! I'm trying to figure it out, and I'm beside myself with frustration. *sigh*

Type in your status window /server irc.nevernet.net and you should connect. I just did it and had no problem. Are you getting any error messages?

It may shock you to hear this, but Nevernet is not the only IRC network out there. And even more shocking, mIRC wasn't created just for Nevernet. Thats why mIRC doesn't popup a message saying "type /server irc.nevernet.net"

Every look at it from the point of view that maybe friends on that server, and they would like to join to meet up with them?



that tells me there is a purpose to this specific server, and that they are trying over and over because they are unaware of other servers.

My point was his post seems to blame mIRC for the fact that it doesn't tell him how to connect to Nevernet, now how he says, "I've downloaded MIRC then nothing happens. I get no further help to figure out how to connect to the Nevernet server." My point was, why should mIRC provide further help to connect to Nevernet? I wasn't saying he should use another server, I was explaining why when installing mIRC "nothing happens" as opposed to saying "to connect to Nevernet type /server ....."

My point was to help him connect to his chosen server, rather than being sarcastic and trying to make myself look smart by putting newbies down.

I wasn't being sarcastic, or putting anyone down, although, you who said you don't are attempting to do that to me with the post you just made. All I was trying to do was let him know why mIRC doesn't provide him with the information he requested, is that such a horrible thing to do?
