I have seen many java chat applets on the web, but most of them are almost impossible to install unless you have apache/tomcat servers
I was wandering if anyone has a java applet or any other way to access a channel from the web
I tried cjb, but my friend insists that cjb is evil and we shouldn’t use their chat services, others have ads etc and some even talk upside down!
I am using windowsXP Pro with IIS5.5 (sharing localhost, sorta) as a server and anything that only allows one channel would be good, even if its not on irc at all, but just on my "server"
thanks for any help

Have you tried JPilot's Applet?
You don't need any special software for running it. Just place the unzipped files anywhere on your server, and modify the html files to fit your needs.

You are right you don't need special software, but you do need special paper, the kind marked "$50" smile
