Forums mIRC Help I kept getting Connection Time Out =/

Anyone noe what does that means? What can I do to not to get that ' Connection Time Out ' thingy? =/ Btw, I have already read the FAQs.. But it usless.. =(

It means that you are not connecting to a server.

Either you are behind a firewall and it is not letting mirc connect to a server because the ports your using are blocked.

Or it means your trying to connect to a server that is very busy and the connection is timing out.

You could also be trying to connect to a server that isnt linked, or need to increase your "time out" in mIRC's connection options. Take a look at the posts at the top of the connection area of this forum, there are a couple that should help you.
