Hello. I have translated many software's into Turkish, and finally, after the addition of editable localization support, I had the opportunity to translate the mIRC program, which has been the love of my youth, into Turkish. The translation was done via Resource Hack in version 7.81. However, as mentioned below, there are some areas that remain untranslated:

I couldn't find the source of the translation on Resource Hack ''Commands menu, channel modes (right clicked on channel), right click on nick and status'' (images are below)

Outside of these, everything is going quite well. The localized DLL file has been tested several times in the Resource Hack program to check for potential errors. So far, I haven't encountered any issues with visuals or meaning.

So, iv'e created a new german language DLL for mIRC 7.81 (Partly translated with an AI) that can downloaded here. I'll optimize that now with an further review of the dll.

I fixed some errors in the dll, there now no warnings.

I'm trying to check if I'm able to give my contribution with italian language.
I have a problem: I followed all instruction to extract and rename mirc783-it-IT.dll
Then I opened Resourch Hacker and started with FILE menu.
I edited all the items, run, and saved them.
But if I open mIRC7.83, menu FILE show almost everything edited aside for those checked items.
Why?

I haven't been able to reproduce this here so far. It might be that Resource Hacker changed the formatting of the resources in some way that mIRC doesn't like. I have emailed you to see if we can track this down.

I have checked your language DLL - your translated menu is being used correctly. However, menus are not just used statically from the MENU definition in resources, they are also built dynamically. When building this menu dynamically, the string resource "Clear History" is used from the String table section. You would need to translate that string. The same applies to dialogs, where many strings are loaded dynamically from the string table, depending on context.

Last question about RH: in Dialogs (so not in menu items) , I found for example:
&Window that I should have to translate with Finestra
or
E&xit = Esci
Where to put & ?

As the translator, you will need to decide what makes sense for your particular language. The & does not have to be used with the same letter as the English language.

I just finished to translate all possible items in Menù-Dialogs-Strings
There're still some parts not translated:

Of course I worked on a non-registrated (if I use a registred one, I can't see those items about remaining days, etc...)

Dunno where to find those strings missing translation (I also tried to search words using search option in RH)

Can the dialog names be changed from numbers to words in the resource part of the file? I think this would make it easier to find things instead of having to constantly scroll though them.
