Forums Bug Reports crash 779 win11

I recently upgraded to windows 11 and since then, mIRC crashes as soon as it opens. I've added it as an exception in windows firewall and my antivirus software. I've downloaded and installed the latest version. I've even enabled split-tunneling in my VPN so that the app connects directly to the internet. I have run it as admin and tried various windows compatibility modes. This crash happens before the about screen is seen.

I am at a loss. Any advice you can offer that might be helpful, I would appreciate.

Very strange because I have had Windows 11 Pro installed for 2 years and I am even a beta tester for Microsoft and I am on the latest beta version of Windows 11 that will be released this year and I use mIRC every day and I have never had this problem.

Have you tried checking if all your drivers are up to date?

To my knowledge, all of my drivers are current. I got more info after the first post

I ran sfc and it did find something and do repairs. I can provide the log from that also if you need it. It did not resolve the issue.

I installed it portable in my documents folder and got the same issue.

Thanks for your bug report and crash details. I have not been able to reproduce this so far, so I would like to create a beta for you that hopefully pinpoints the cause of the issue. I will email you shortly with more details.
