Currently, you can change the background of the switchbar to any color you want, but the buttons themselves remain gray unless you change the Windows theme itself.

Unfortunately, to change the buttons completely from gray, you need to patch Windows 10 and uninstall fan-made themes and hope it doesn't break the rest of Windows.

This is a minor suggestion to let the background selection under the switchbar to change the button colors, and maybe borders to the buttons, to match the background, and add a default text color to the dialog options in mIRC to compensate.

Much like we have Event/Message/Highlight, we could have Default/Event/Message/Highlight to change the switchbar. We can already make the treebar text any color we choose, but the switchbar feels like it has been left behind for those who prefer it.

Your proposal is quite interesting and in some way practically repeats my suggestion made in an earlier post: #Post268860. For me, this is also one of the desired changes in future versions, so that all constantly visible elements and components of the client are in harmony with each other in their customized colors and did not cause rejection.

Really best solution would be to include the ability to change colors for all these elements, so that they fit into the overall individually customized design.

High hopes for significant changes towards new possibilities for customization colors and designs to eliminate visible deficiencies - voiced in this post: #Post268834 and #Post268840.

It remains only to wait until the new beta version is released to see what came out of it, how will it look like and what managed to implement into reality.
