Khaled, I don't remember if this is the same as the previous timestamp issue, I don't use a ZNC regularly but I test from time to time.

mIRC shows the timestamp incorrectly for the playback buffer, it looks like that all the timestamps are adjusted to the CONNECTION time and not to the time where the MSG was sent, I've tested other clients and web ones and they work fine.

I saw on the ZNC webpage this msg "If you have a modern client which supports server-time capability, timestamps are automatically shown correctly. Otherwise, one of scripts below might help. But in that case consider upgrading your client instead.", does mIRC support server-time?

Not sure what's going on here, if you can double check. Thank you.

You can check whether mIRC supports server-time on the server you are connecting to by looking at the caps list when you connect to the server. Do you see server-time listed in the caps list?

I see it there yes "10:11:48 Caps set: batch multi-prefix server-time userhost-in-names".

Okay, if you enable debugging with /debug on, you should see the timestamp "@time=" that prefixes each message from the server.

Can you post the part of the debug.log file that shows normal messages and playback messages?

Let me open a test chan on a different network for that, give me few mins.

When the playback buffer loads, IF the nick in the buffer log is no longer in the chan at the moment of the client connection to the ZNC, mIRC will show the message with no nick or <>, other clients show <NICK>.

Is there a way to fix this?

Thank you.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue so far.

When mIRC receives a message to a channel and the nickname is not on the channel, it displays the message normally here.

Is it possible that you are using a script that is interfering in some way?

It's a script indeed, it's the nick coloring one, sorry about the trouble and I will talk to maroon about this issue.

Damn it, what a waste of your time Khaled, sorry about this, the same nickcolor script (and the other one, crc vs md5) locks the playback buffer timestamp as well. Unloaded the script and everything runs perfectly.

Will we see an option to randomly color the nicks (and keep the same color for each nick) and an option to gray out away users by default from mIRC?

No problem. I'll add the nick coloring idea to my to-do list.
