Its be helpful for us commandline orientated people if we could get a command to set the global buffer size(window line count) and an identifier to return it:
/buffersize N
Sets the global buffer size to N lines
Buffers that exceed this amount are the chopped with the next message displayed to the window
$buffersize
returns the current global buffer size
