Forums Connection Issues HELP!

I was on Newnet random server.... I disconnected as usual and when i tried to connect to it again it says

You have been banned from this server: AGLINE ID c60b2351feccde9b95d81676f5519517 -- Enable IDENTD

It also says something about K-Lined ---

I'm not sure why i have been banned, Is there anyway i can be unbanned because it's a great server!

type /help /identd
type /identd on BeStY
then type /server irc.eviltwins.org
irc.eviltwins.org is the NewNet server I always use when I go there .. look me up in the Mp3 channels.

But then it says this when it tries to connect!

Do you run a router or firewall? If so, check to make sure that port 113 is forwarded to your pc for ident.

I dont run a firewall or router but i'm networked - Never thought bout that thanks.... Me dumb.... How i check if its forwarded then :P

If you are networked .. are you the administrator of the network? If not, you need to speak with him/her about it.

You are klined, not allowed on there, because they arent getting an identd response from you. Check in file/options/connect/identd and be sure you have identd enabled. Make sure that user ID line there says the same thing you have before the @ in connect/ email addy. Check your network and be sure you have forwarded port 113 (see this thread for a link that may help you even tho its another networks website) Another site that should help you with your network is practicallynetworked
