I upgraded and now some files are missing. I am looking for mirc help and when I click on SEARCH .. I get a message that the help files cannot be found.

Specifically I am trying to find out how to move the boxes that say what channels you are in .. from the top to the bottom. I used to be able to just grab the bar and move it, but not anymore.

Right click the bar first to open a menu, you'll find "Lock Bars" option. It's the thing preventing you from moving it.

You can get the help files back by reinstalling mIRC. It'll allow you to pick the files you want. Only pick the help files so that you don't overwrite your settings/whatever.


EDIT: forgot to mention that since you upgraded, you probably got "backup" folder in your mIRC folder. It most likely has the missing files. Although if they are there, they are most likely out-of-date.
