Using Fixedsys Excelsior 3.01, mIRC is converting all ->'s to &#8594;'s, all <-'s to &#8592;'s, -->'s to —&#8594;'s, etc. It's really annoying. It even does it in the <nick> sections! So for example "<somenick-> blah blah blah" becomes "<somenick&#8594; blah blah blah".

How can I disable this (while still using Fixedsys Excelsior)?

That's not mIRC, the font itself does it. I thought there was a version floating around where that doesn't happen though.
