Hi. I put together a comprehensive walk-through that entails all that is needed to run a remote-control mIRC client on a remote server (for running mIRCscripts, etc). This is ideal for someone who likes to script applications with mIRCscript and doesn't want to worry about keeping a computer on at home all the time to run a permanently connected mIRC client.

Enjoy! http://jollo.org/LNT/doc/ps/mirc.html

Why run mIRC through ZNC?

Though WINE is not fully supported by mIRC, it does have alot of code to make it run under wine quite nicely.

To ensure a persistent connection to the destination server in case you need to restart mIRC.
