'wrestling servers' where you can 'download stuff'?

uhm,... IRC (Internet Relay Chat) consists of a network of IRC servers where you can connect to with an IRC client like mIRC. With such a client you can chat in so called 'Channels' with all other people connected to one of the IRC servers in the network you connected to. Read more in the IRC Intro.

Special 'wrestling servers' do not exist. And as far as I know there are no wrestling themed IRC networks. (There are gaming and Startrek networks!) But you might manage to find wrestling themed IRC channels on all major IRC networks.

You can see a list of all existing IRC networks on 'Netsplit'.
You can search for wrestling related IRC channels too!

As for 'downloading stuff'; in my opinion mIRC is primarily for chatting, not a file share program. When you have found some friends on IRC to chat about wrestling with, they might have some things to share with you (like photo's or something? I have no idea about wrestling)

lol. A wrestler weighing about 140kg, he's the one that tears his shirt up in the ring before the match.

There are 2 very different types of wrestling in the United States.

One is the traditional variety one would find in the Olympics and in our schools with people competing against each other.

The second is one, which is rooted in entertainment, as a cross between greco wrestling and boxing and ridiculous antics.

Unfortunately the second has caught the eye of more people for entertainment value than the first. The matches are an embarrassment to anyone who has ever competitively wrestled.

The second is better but not of late, back in the 80's the egos weren't as prevalent. I remember the wresling down here in the late 70's and early 80's. Andre The Giant even wrestled in Sydney.

And nothing used to beat watching the WWF on telly. I remember Rowdy Roddy Piper and all his interviews that ended up in on-set punchups, chairs getting thrown, clothes getting torn and repuations being shattered for all time, it's all good stuff.

lol very true! I remember as a kid sitting down in front of the telly on a Saturday afternoon being entertained by the likes of Big Daddy and Giant Haystacks. Big Daddy's real name was actually Shirley - no wonder he grew up so big and tough. But the toughest people were all the old grannies sitting in the front row ringside, baying for blood *shudder*!

Never compare yourself to others - they're more screwed up than you think.
