I'm in the Comfort Suites hotel using their wifi. My browser works fine and I can connect to google, youtube, etc. But when I try to use mIRC, the connections keep "timing out". I called the hotel's internet access tech support and it doesn't seem like the issue is coming from them. They literally turned off their firewall for me and had me try to connect again and still nothing. The tech guy said it's prolly an issue with the irc server that I'm trying to connect to is not accepting the hotel's ip or something. Can someone help???
