I personally would love to see an Android version of mIRC.

There are other IRC applications you can use on an android however. Maybe you should look into that.

I don't see any need to have any scripts aside from autojoin and autoident on a tablet, so a normal IRC handler should suffice.

The client I use for Android is "IRC for Android" (formerly known as "Android IRC").
It's developed by nyt who is an EFNet admin. It's not free, but it's the best.

Tip: When using IRC from a mobile device, it is recommended that you connect through a stable IRC proxy known as a BNC. The reason for this is that mobile internet connections are very flaky and will cause your client to frequently disconnect and reconnect, flooding other users of the channels you're in. This often leads to getting banned.

The most popular BNC is ZNC, and it's available for Linux and Windows. A BNC will disguise these connection troubles and will preserve any activity you missed while your mobile device is disconnected.

Absolutely. I use a free irc app, I believe it's called AndroIRC (Away from phone and lazy).

Later, when I plan on releasing my newest project which is all remote based, I may plan on getting a stable IRC version for my phone. This will, of course, be BNC based as I have plans on setting up a BNC on my linux server at home later.

I also use AndroIRC, now, but since I am a fan of mIRC, I'd love to have that, instead. More used to it. :P
