Something I have seen and wondered about for a while is sevadus' !loveletter command to send a thank you message, and other information, to his subscribers. Can something like this be done in mIRC?

Not a single person here apart from you will know who Sevadus is.
Explain the idea, it's very likely it can be made through mIRC.

Unless you have a subscriber button on twitch chances are this isn't possible. The only reason Sevadus can do it is because he's able to message all his subs anyway. You can't mass message followers/random people.

<moobot> You can find the latest Subscriber Love Letter at http://subs.sevadus.tv

if you're wondering about that domain, you would need to buy it from a web host like http://godaddy.com then set it up to your liking. you couldn't really do this in mIRC unless you wanted to have it show up in the chat, which would just be a simple msg command.

You can mass message people if you want, a bot can easily automate a process like this by sending the messages one at a time. I'd highly suggest to not send out automated messages to people though.

When a sub'd user sends !loveletter into the chat his sevbot would send a twitch private message to that user.

This was his way to only have the messages go to those who wanted it, instead of sending a message to every sub.

Then you'd just log in and navigate the site using sockets(http://www.twitch.tv/message/compose) and fill in the "to" box with $nick

Well then I suggest you go help yourself with Twitch and then come back here for help with mIRC.

The only thing we can do is wait for them to add API for private messages

This is very feasible using mIRC.

Though I will not show how to do it since I do not condone mass messaging people with bots.

I am not looking to use it to mass message but to just send a thankyou with the event of :*subscription*:

I was thinking. Why not do it as a POST to the msg form. If you can help that would be great. There is no mass messaging as you can send a mass message to your subs already.

If I had a message that was automated that thanked them as well as sent them the subscriber server IPs and Passwords.
