I'm not sure if my topic makes any sense, but how do I disable mIRC from opening windows on top my current open window in mIRC. Eg. if there's a netsplit and I get reconnected to the server. mIRC will open all the channels I join one-by-one on top of my current active window. I would like for mIRC to join those channels in the background without opening new windows on top of my current active window. Is this even possible currently?

For example, if I type
/join #channel
I want mIRC to try and join that channel of course, but I don't want my top window to go to that channel. The window where I wrote that command should be the top window until I change the active window to the opened channel.

Basically I'm asking if there's an option like "Minimize query window", but for everything else (channels, servers, dcc chat, etc.).

Is this any help?
From mIRC help:
Quote:
/join [-inx] <#channel>
This is a standard IRC command for joining a channel.

The -i switch makes you join the channel to which you were last invited.

The -n and -x switches minimize/maximize the channel window when you join it.
