Forums mIRC Help filter out: everything but the dialog

I am trying to use IRC and the UI is a little overwhelming.

I don't care about seeing Join, Quit or that UserX is now known as UserXaway. I just want to expand my knowledge base by listening to the discussion

Go to the options, in the IRC section there is a button called "Events", here you can select to hide everything.
