I want to store all files at the same place.

C:\mirc\system\

Befor i could chage the path in mirc.ini, now it overwrite it when mirc start. And i want this confirmed.

Create a map called system inside your mirc map.

Change the path in mirc.ini .

logdir=system\logs\
waves=system\sounds\
midis=system\sounds\
mp3s=system\sounds\
wmas=system\sounds\
oggs=system\sounds\

Start mirc, and the changes are gone, even when i write protected mirc.ini it changed the path to the default. What have changed since version 7.22? There i can change the path as i want to.

I have not been able to reproduce this issue here. Both v7.22 and 7.27 are working in the same way for me. Can you provide a step by step method that reproduces this issue for you? Are you sure that the folders you are specifying exist? If they do not exist, mIRC will defer to default values, as has been the case for versions going back many years.

I created the folders, but i will check so mirc have permission to use the folders, if this is the case, then im sorry i wasted your time. Just reinstallerd windows so maybe this is the case.

Edit

Was mirc that didnt have permission to use the folder path.
