Whenever I switch windows from mIRC to something else, my text input starts to lag in the active window (like it takes 1 second for each keystroke to show up) when I go back to mIRC. The only fix I've found is to switch view from normal to compact mode and back again, but 1) this is annoying and 2) the text starts lagging again the next time I switch windows. What should I do?

Please paste the result of this command.

Code:
//echo -a $version $os $md5($mircexe,2) $file($mircexe).sig $com(0) $dll(0) $script(0)

And you can't reproduce it on 7.19?
Try updating your drivers

Use for example http://www.ma-config.com/en, it's really easy, install the little program and it gives you the new drivers.

You have at least one script loaded. If you type "/remote off" in mIRC (which disables scripts), does the problem still occur? (You can turn scripts back on with "/remote on" if it doesn't help.)

I turned remotes off and it made no difference. >.< (I even tried turning off remotes, relaunching mirc, and trying again)

I'm looking into the drivers thing now.

How many channels and networks are you connected to?

- argv[0] on EFnet #mIRC
