It seems that DCC Auto-Get combined with Trusted Users is a bit broken in 7.22.

If I use "Auto-Get, Trusted only, Show Get-Dialog for non-trusted", I get the Get-Dialog every time.
If I use "Auto-Get, Trusted only, Get-Dialog for non-trusted disabled", I get nothing (not even a warning that someone tried to DCC SEND me something).
If I use "Auto-Get, Trusted only disabled", the DCC SEND is accepted automatically.

I tried the above things with both nickname and nick!user@host (both with wildcards for the non-identd user and with the full user including ~); neither worked.
Apparently none of my scripts are interfering with that, since /remote off shows the same results. I didn't try a clean installation yet, but I was assuming that it isn't exactly necessary when remotes are disabled.

/dcc trust currently returns "* DCC trust is on (2 entries)"; which is the nickname and the nick!user@host mentioned previously.

Anything I could have missed here?

Just in case you're unaware, it is easy to do a clean installation without interfering with your existing one. You simply make a temporary folder (anywhere), copy mirc.exe from your existing installation's folder into the new temporary folder, and then run the new copy of mirc.exe with the -portable switch. That new copy of mirc.exe will then setup a fresh installation contained entirely within that temporary folder, and won't interfere with your existing install, or modify anything anywhere else on your system. Deleting the temporary folder, likewise, is all you have to do afterwards (there's no uninstall process).

Edit: I tried all you suggested using a clean installation, and everything worked just as it should have. (FYI, you can't put only a nickname into the trusted list. Each entry must be a full address in the nick!userid@host format or else mIRC assumes you're entering an access level ('/help levels'). So to match against nicks only, use nickname!*@* instead.)

Meh, I feel a bit like an idiot now - the other side did subtly change the ident between my auto-get configuration and the next time I tried the get, so I didn't notice immediately until I tried with a clean installation and noticed the difference when reconfiguring everything.

Looks like I wasted your time =/

Actually you did everyone a service. Periodic reminders to test with a clean install help everyone. We are all human and sometimes do not immediately see the right answer...

In my mind, the worst thing one can do is NOT ask a question, we all learn from others questions and the answers given.
